Dare's Previous Updates - 2006

October 2006 News: Dare returns from Maryland! In May 2006, I took Dare to Carla King in Maryland for three months of training as a working sheepdog. Carla provided Dare with a great foundation in the basics, working five to seven days a week. Dare has gotten a wonderful start, and she was able to make much better progress than I could ever have hoped to achieve working her just once a week, and as novice a handler as I still am. I picked up Dare on August 7, and she is doing fantastic. I am looking forward to my first trials with Dare in the coming year or so.
