June 2008 News: Aine has been training for agility in 2007. She’s doing very well running Open level in Standard classes at matches, and will be competing at her first trials soon!
The “lucky seventh” of Perky’s litter, Aine (puppy name “Flossie”) is very much a social butterfly. She loves Harleys and tries to get to know the owners of bikes parked on her street! Aine (a Gaeilic name meaning "splendor, radiance, brilliance" and pronounced "Ahn-ya" or "Ahn-yuh") has already started her agility training and has great potential as a future star! She will also do some herding, and be shown in the breed ring, as she is a beautiful example of a working-bred Border Collie. Aine rules the roost in Clifton, NJ, where she lives with “mommy” Michele Polanish, “big brother” Billy, and kitty Scout.

Previous Updates
October 2006: Aine has started agility training and is amazing! She has also started herding lessons and is very enthusiastic about working sheep. Aine will continue to focus on training for agility trials in the near future.
